Airstream, Inc. and island-inspired lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama® have come together to “bring island life with you wherever you go,” states the press announcement about Airstream’s latest decor partnership.
The 28-foot special edition travel trailer sleeps up to four people and features a wide rear hatch that “brings in the ocean breeze” and allows for easy stowing of oversize fungear (like surfboards and golf clubs). The queen size bed is fitted with Tommy Bahama bedding; the built-in bar holds Tommy Bahama double old-fashioned and stemless wine glasses.
The Interstate touring coach—“your own personal weekend escape vehicle”—is available in two floor plans: the Lounge EXT (with seating for up to 9 people) and the Grand Tour EXT (with seating for 6 or 7).
Both units feature living spaces designed with an island-inspired aesthetic and Tommy Bahama fabrics “designed to bring easy, beach living everywhere you go.”
With their shared values and philosophies, Airstream and Tommy Bahama® make a seamless team to “pay homage to one of America’s most priceless forms of expression: ‘the art of relaxation’.”
“When it comes to relaxed attitudes, you’d be hard pressed to find two brands that exemplify those qualities better than Tommy Bahama and Airstream,” said Rob Goldberg, EVP of Marketing for Tommy Bahama. “We believe that an Airstream is the ideal way to make life one long weekend.”
