Fun New App from Airstream, Inc.
The Mothership is “expanding its digital footprint” for a more personalized experience. Among the upgrades to their online offerings are several changes to airstream.com — including a five-step “choose your own” feature that allows buyers to mix and match coach attributes (floorplan, decor, weight, etc.) to arrive at their perfect dream ‘stream.
The most fun, though, is the new (free) “Airstream Everywhere” app from Airstream, Inc. which allows users to place an Airstream into any photo—wacky selfies and the lunar surface come to mind—and share it instantly with friends.
“Just as the digital world continues to evolve, so does Airstream and it is important for us to continue to create more accessible and engaging offerings for our customers,” said Airstream CEO and President Bob Wheeler. “This app, with the new website, hits every level of customer engagement both for first-time and long-time Airstreamers.”

Newbies Guide, 2.0
The second edition of “The Newbies Guide to Airstreaming” is now available on Kindle. “Lots of little things have changed about Airstreams since I wrote the first version, but I was surprised (and pleased) to see that most of the essentials haven’t changed at all,” said author Rich Luhr.
The fun to read Newbies Guide was designed to jump start new Airstreamers on topics every owner should be familiar with: winterizing, maintenance, towing, dumping, power options, and even the “zen” of Airstream travel. “If you’ve read the Newbies Guide, you might have noticed that it’s almost as much about the philosophy of Airstreaming as it is about the practicalities,” said Luhr.
Even if you’re not a Newbie, the guide is a valuable resource to have on hand in any trailer—and makes a great stocking stuffer for the Airstreamers on your “nice” list! Click here to order.
