Airstream and Tommy Bahama Partner Once Again on 19-ft Special Edition Trailer
What better way to spend island time than in a distinctively outfitted mobile island? The one we’re eyeing is the gorgeous new 19” special-edition Airstream, the third effort in the popular partnership between Airstream and Tommy Bahama. Like its 28” big brother and the luxurious Interstate model, the 19-footer has an island-inspired aesthetic, courtesy of Tommy Bahama print designs and bedding, as well as a Tommy Bahama cooler, chairs and Marlin mug set.
Toss in the top-of-the-line entertainment center, custom plantation-wood shutters and blinds, and some subtle branding accents and flourishes, and you’re ready to take your island on the road.

Alumapalooza 9 Tickets Going Fast!
With nine months to go until always-exciting Alumapalooza 9, half of the available camping spaces at the Airstream factory are reserved. We’re not looking to scare the aluminum off of you, but since the event sold out in 2017, these numbers tell us that sellout is pretty much a sure thing for 2018. (After all, registration only opened up in June—the word “hotcakes” comes to mind.)
Naturally, the event program will be brand new. As the only event held on the grounds on the Airstream factory, we’ll be sure to cover both the practical and the extravagant, with lots of entertainment in between. All factory sites include water, rally electric, one pump-out, and access to a dump station. Reservations—if they last that long—will get more expensive on January 1, 2018. We’ll see you there!

The Trailer Park After Dark doesn’t include Airstreams, but it reimagines the vintage trailer park with all the trimmings for its San Diego bar and restaurant. Someone does need to add pink flamingoes.
A lumberjack Airstream? Not quite, but a handsome rig nonetheless.
