Head’s up, snowbirds: this “hidden gem for the golfer/RVer” earned a 5-star Campendium review.

“We stay here every time we pass through southern Georgia,” stated Campendium reviewers John and Pam. “For a golfer this is a dream park. The sites are pull throughs on grass, and level, long, and wide.”
The golf course itself “is a very challenging nine hole course with two tough water holes,” they said. “The tees and greens are perfect. We stay here mainly to play golf, which is free if you walk!”
Enjoy the sports lounge, pool table, card tables, and TVs in the clubhouse, as well as a lighted tennis court and pool with showers and locker room. Each pet friendly, full hookup site has a grill, picnic table, and fire ring. You can even fish in the 7-acre lake.
“The park has good WiFi and is very quiet,” said John and Pam. “It is small, maybe 30 sites, and come prepared with plenty of groceries.” The nearby town isn’t known for cuisine, and Walmart and other grocery stores are 20 miles away. “You are in cotton and peanut country,” advised John and Pam.
Attractions within a 25-mile distance include the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village, a Tupelo honey apiary, the Jefferson Davis Memorial, and the historically graphic (but somehow lighthearted) Crime and Punishment Museum.
