The schedule of activities is almost complete for Alumapalooza 8, and we’re adding a little more every day to the already fun-filled program!
New hands-on workshops will be held Wednesday through Saturday in the morning and afternoon. These seminars give you a chance to learn much more about your Airstream and how to take care of it. Each workshop runs 30 minutes and repeats once. You’ll have a chance to try the technique yourself, and ask questions of an expert.
Whether you’re a newbie or an expert Airstreamer yourself, you’ll come away with valuable tips and information about battery maintenance, propane systems, lubrication, winterizing, drilling, riveting, leak detection, polishing and more.
Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to get the most out of your Airstream, back at the very factory where your trailer was made. Start your registration by clicking here!
Alumaflamingo wrap up
It was a “field of ‘streams” at Cackleberry Campground in New Smyrna Beach, Florida! Alumaflamingo 2017 concluded this week—a five-day, all-Airstream adventure near Daytona.
The weather cooperated (mostly), and a little rain never dampens the camaraderie at an Alumaevent anyway. Attendees enjoyed daily entertainment under the big tent, including singer/guitarist Mitch Michaels, the lively Dewey Via band, educational seminars, and Frank diBona’s hilarious slide show.
Alumaflamingoers got to know one another at the open grills and happy hours, during the Dutch oven breakfast, on the Ponce de Leon Inlet Light tour, and by visiting the many different rigs on the field (including a rare class A Airstream Skydeck motorhome). The Daytona 500 race was broadcast live on the big screen TV, so race fans had the opportunity to relax and avoid the Daytona crowds.
See you at our next Alumaevent: Alumapalooza 8! Register today for the annual party at the Airstream factory in Ohio, always held the week after Memorial Day.
